The chill of winter will soon be behind us and the warmth of the sun will welcome the arrival of spring – a season of growth and endless possibilities. At Child’s Voice, spring signifies more than just blooming flowers and longer days; it marks a time of new beginnings, fresh energy, and exciting opportunities for our kids. From outdoor learning experiences and play to the excitement and anticipation of year-end achievements, this season brings a renewed sense of enthusiasm and motivation. We look forward to embracing all that spring has to offer, both in and out of the classroom.
Every February we celebrate Child’s Voice’s birthday. This year we are turning 29. It is always so rewarding to look back at our history and see where we started and how far we’ve come. Founded in 1996, by just six families that wanted a strong listening and spoken language opportunity for their children, we now serve 30 children enrolled in our school program, over 100 families annually in our Early Intervention programs, and our audiology program has served over 100 this year alone.
Even though we have grown, our mission has remained the same: to empower children with hearing loss to be successful in everything they do.
Child’s Voice, like many other non-profit organizations and schools across the United States is facing economic uncertainties with the cuts in federal funding. However, we remain strong in our drive to continue to effectively serve our communities. It is during uncertain times like these that we take a moment to reflect on the incredible generosity and unwavering support of our donors and supporters. Your contributions over the years have played a vital role in shaping the success of our students, enriching our programs, and strengthening our school community. Thank you for being an essential part of our journey.
Best,
Wendy
