The Wilkins Annual Fund
Your donation allows us to continue to serve children with hearing loss and their families for another 25 years. Because of you, we can hire experts in the field of listening and spoken language education, speech therapists, and audiologists that specialize in pediatric care.
With your support, we can purchase supplies for classrooms, professional development materials for our teachers, and therapy equipment for home-based services.

Early Intervention Fund
Support our littlest learners with hearing loss (birth to age 3) as they learn to listen and speak! The Early Intervention Program serves 90-100 children each year, across the greater Chicago region. The classroom components are located at both our Wood Dale and Roscoe Village (Chicago) locations.
Through your generosity, we can provide home-based and remote/video therapy, and center-based groups for our toddlers and their parents. Your donation also helps to fund scholarships for our students.

Audiology Center Fund
Ensuring good access to sound makes a world of difference in a child’s ability to learn to listen and speak. The Audiology Center offers support for student hearing aids and cochlear implants, hearing tests for children at risk for hearing loss, and classroom observations. The Center sees more than 250 patients each year, including Early Intervention and School Program students, infants, and alumni.

Auerbach Scholarship Fund
Elsa Auerbach has been teaching at Child’s Voice since it opened in 1996. Her immense passion for helping children and her pride in Child’s Voice is clear. She has made listening and speaking a reality for hundreds of children with hearing loss. Help support students in the School Program that need financial assistance/scholarships so more may benefit from expert teachers like Ms. Elsa.

Book Fairy Fund
At Child’s Voice, literacy and reading touch every part of the curriculum. Literacy is a way to learn about and gain access to the world. It allows students to connect with text and have shared experiences with others. We hope all our students will have an opportunity to develop a love of reading – and you can make that possible.
For $40, a child will receive one book every month and a special book for their birthday! Your donation will help a child increase their vocabulary and language development, improving their hearing and speaking success.

Building & Campus Fund
Donations to the Building & Campus Fund will help support our facilities and grounds. This important effort includes updates at both the Wood Dale and Chicago buildings. Past projects include upgrades to the soffits and gutters, a new sign on the front of the building, playground and landscaping improvements and parking lot paving.
