Alumni Success Story – Congrats Harah!

Alumni Success Story – Congrats Harah!

Congratulations to Child’s Voice 2012 Graduate, Harah, on her equestrian achievements!

A few years ago, Harah started riding horses at Walk On in Barrington, in an effort to manage anxiety and other personal challenges she was facing at the time.  Her love for animals quickly escalated, leaving Harah wanting to do more with horses than just attend a therapeutic riding center.  She craved more freedom to just ride!

Her riding journey escalated to the next level when Harah joined Red Coat Riding Academy in Hawthorn Woods.  She was in love with the sport!  This year was her first competitive season with the Red Coat Riding Academy’s IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) Team. In January, Harah placed 3rd, earning enough points to raise the Red Coat team into 1st place.

In February, Harah received a 1st place ribbon for her skills in the walk, trot and canter category.

Harah also earned a 3rd place ribbon in a recent IEA traveling show.

Harah currently attends Cooper Middle School in Buffalo Grove. She is definitely a rockstar rider, and we are so proud of her.  Congratulations on a great season, Harah!
