Happy New Year! I am really excited for 2024 at Child’s Voice. I think all the kids grew at least an inch over winter break, so I can’t wait to see how much progress they will make by May. We have more holidays and celebrations planned, field trips, Reading Rainbow days, and tons of learning planned for the next part of our journey together.
It is such a gift to be a part of the growth that takes place at Child’s Voice in all of our children and families. I have been full of gratitude lately as I reach out to individuals who have donated to our fall appeal campaign. We have raised over $30,000 and counting, and I am humbled by our community’s generosity. Every gift is so meaningful, regardless of the amount, because it means people take the time to think and care about what we do at Child’s Voice. They know their donations will go to helping children with hearing loss learn to talk, to listen, and ultimately succeed.
My hope is that this feeling of giving and gratitude lasts all year. Did you know you can set up a monthly donation to Child’s Voice? I love doing things like this in my life so that I can contribute to the organizations I believe in and save slowly for things that I know will happen each year. For example, I automatically put aside $15 each week for holiday gifts so I am not so overwhelmed in November when there are so many people, I want to buy gifts for. It is such a wonderful feeling to put in a small effort and let that build into a big reward.
Please consider setting up a recurring donation to Child’s Voice. To do so, visit childsvoice.org/donate-today and click the red “Donate Now” button. Once the pop-up window appears, simply click on “recurring donation” at the top and complete the necessary fields. Monthly donors help us continue to support our Audiology Center, Early Intervention programs, and school programs throughout the year.
Thank you again for your continued interest and support for Child’s Voice. We couldn’t do what we do without you!
Stay warm, Wendy
