Child’s Voice is proud to announce that Rollen Cooper, Director of Early Intervention, has been appointed to the AG Bell Academy Mentoring Task Force.  Rollen also serves on the Board of Directors for the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language , a position he has had since 2013.  He also serves on the Academy’s Certification Committee, a position he has held since 2015.

On the Mentioning Task Force, members evaluate the requirements for professionals that wish to be LSLS (Listening and Spoken Language Specialists) certified.  The committee suggested changes to the application and looked at the role of the mentor for professionals working on certification.  Their suggestions were approved by the Academy Board and were effective July of this year.

Child’s Voice currently has nine LSLS certified members on staff.  We are proud of the dedication and skill demonstrated by our staff!
