parent educationAt Child’s Voice, parents are partners in their child’s development. Parents participate in individual and group education sessions. Topics may include: audiology, nutrition, behavior management, child development, speech and language development, and transition planning. Parents are required to participate in their child’s sessions at home and in the center so that they can learn to implement listening and spoken language techniques throughout their child’s day.

Parent Advocacy Training classes are provided 1-2 times per year in order to help parents navigate the transition process.
