Child’s Voice empowers children and prepares them for a lifetime of learning with their hearing peers.

Making the Most of the Beginning
Even before they are born, a child begins listening and learning sounds. The first days, months and years of each child’s life is focused on absorbing the many sounds around them; their mother’s voice, their father’s laugh and the giggles of their siblings. When an infant/toddler is diagnosed with hearing loss they have not had the same opportunity to learn from this childhood exposure to sounds. However, through continued advancements in early identification and intervention, children with hearing loss can develop the skills to speak and to listen.

Child’s Voice partners with families with the end goal of preparing each student to move into their neighborhood school districts and attend their local, mainstream schools.
