Announcing our College Educational Seminars

Child’s Voice is excited to announce our College Educational Seminar Series.  We realize preparing for college can be overwhelming.  By providing these seminars, with a variety of speakers, our hope is to make the college selection process easier on parents and their children.  Our first seminar will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 12:30 to 3:00 pm at Child’s Voice in Wood Dale.

We have several guest speakers attending including a representative from Rochester Institute of Technology/National Technical Institute for the Deaf, alumni parents Kristen Noonan, Mary Jo Para, Rebecca Schiltz and Jackie Urbanski, Child’s Voice alumni, and High School Guidance Counselor (and Alumni Parent) Patricia Clifton.   They will be on-hand to discuss items you need to know to better prepare for your college search.  The alumni parents will discuss the journey they went through with their child in selecting a college for their children – lessons learned, challenges and successes along the way.

Our alumni will share their personal collegiate experiences, and answer any questions your child may have about preparing for college and their actual college experience.  This is a great opportunity to share information and build a network of people to help along the way.

Sunday, February 24th from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
