Tina

As a School Program Speech Language Pathologist Tina currently works with the students doing speech, language, and articulation therapy. She collaborates and works closely with all deaf education teachers, directors, audiologists, and parents in order to better provide therapies to students. She administers all standardized testing and attends IEP’s (Individualized Education Plans) for all her students.

She came to Child’s Voice in 2004 after a year teaching at a Catholic school as a second grade teacher. She worked as a teacher’s aide in the PII program while getting her Master’s Degree. Tina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University, a second Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Governors Stare University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Governors State University.

Tina is a fashion enthusiast and enjoys shopping, traveling, biking, dancing, photography, crafting, and interior design. Tina’s two favorite quotes are “Here’s to strong women. May you raise them. May we know them. May we be them, “ and “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”
