Robyn Cox, M.S.
Robyn is the Child’s Voice Discovery Center Teacher. Her goal is to create a learning environment similar to a typical preschool classroom. At the core of every lesson she strives to develop students’ listening and spoken language abilities. She does this by teaching the foundational skills necessary to help students become successful at reading, writing, and math through songs/movement, literature, and play. Robyn also helps develop each child’s social skills such as playing cooperatively in a group, taking turns, and asking/answering questions.

Robyn first heard about Child’s Voice when serving a practicum rotation in Elsa’s room. Following graduate school, she worked in St. Louis for a year and patiently waited for a position at Child’s Voice to become available. Robyn joined the Child’s Voice staff in August 2010. She loves this job and says it is amazing to watch how the students grow in their language and learning each day!

She currently is on the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) Committee and helping with the Winter Festival at Child’s Voice. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, working out and playing on recreational soccer leagues.
