Kim is the Early Intervention program’s Lead Therapist/DTH. As an EI Specialist and Teacher of the Deaf, Kim provides home-based and center-based Aural Rehabilitation services to children and families in the birth to age 3 population.  She is also the classroom teacher of the Toddler Group program.  She began her career at Child’s Voice in August of 2011, previously working in the school program for 8 years before making the move to Early Intervention full time.

Kim has a B.S. in Deaf Education from Illinois State University, and she is credentialed as a Developmental Therapist-Hearing Specialist.  She is an associate board member for The Foundation for Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation, aiming to organize events that connect children and families with hearing loss in the Chicagoland area.  Outside of Child’s Voice, Kim loves to spend time exploring new trails and parks with her daughter and husband, practice hand lettering, and get her nails done.
