Kim Tasharski, DT/H
As a Teacher in the Primary I (ages 3-5) Program, Kim’s role involves the children how to utilize their hearing devices in order to listen, communicate, socialize, use their voice, share, take turns, play, talk, and so much more. Kim is also a lead team member on Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program where she assists staff on how to work with challenging student behaviors. She began with Child’s Voice as a student teacher in the spring of 2008 in Ms. Elsa’s classroom and was hired as part of the staff in August 2011.
She and her husband, Matt, live in Carol Stream with their cat, Thor. They were recently married in April 2015 and enjoy spending time fixing up their starter home. Kim also enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and yoga. Kim is so grateful for the Child’s Voice community and loves working with the students and their families!
