On June 12, 2018, over 200 golfers and friends will gather to change the lives of children with hearing loss at Cantigny Park in Wheaton.

For thirteen years, Child’s Voice has hosted the Golf Tournament, which has generated nearly $1M to benefit children with hearing loss as they learn to listen and to speak.  Children range in age from just a few weeks old through 8 years old and reside across the greater metropolitan Chicago area.

“As  co-chairs of this wonderful event, and parents of two current Child’s Voice students, we are excited to host an event that will raise funds to allow Child’s Voice to positively impact the lives of children with hearing loss,” shared Mike and Katie Schroeder.

The Golf Tournament is a scramble format, featuring on-course competitions such as closest to the pin, longest drive, and some exciting opportunities to “Challenge a Child’s Voice graduate” including a putting contest.  Child’s Voice graduates and current students (and their parents) also volunteer on course at a lemonade stand.  The reception and dinner is also open to the public and features raffles, auctions and presentations by Child’s Voice alumni.

“What an incredible way to make a difference,” said Dr. Michele Wilkins, Child’s Voice Executive Director. “This Tournament has grown and now sells out each year. One of my favorite things, our graduates are now back and playing in the Tournament. Whether they are volunteering to be the ‘Challenge the Child’ graduate or actually golfing in a foursome, I am so impressed by our alumni and the many golfers that choose to make a difference at this exciting event.”

Golf is available for $275 per golfer and $1,000 per foursome (until May 1st when prices increase). Sponsorships are available, ranging in pricing from $300 – 10,000.  For more information or to register today, please Click Here.
