CHILD’S VOICE GOLF TOURNAMENT AT ARROWHEAD GOLF CLUB WILL IMPACT CHILDREN WITH HEARING LOSS

Please join us!

On Tuesday, June 11th, , over 200 golfers, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers will gather to change the lives of children with hearing loss at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton.  Registration is open to the public and can be found at www.childsvoice.org.

In its 14th year, this tournament will be the 14th annual outing hosted by Child’s Voice, which has generated over $1M to benefit children with hearing loss as they learn to listen and to speak.  Programs at Child’s Voice support children from just a few weeks old through 8 years of age, who reside across the greater metropolitan Chicago area.

“As chairs of this wonderful event, and parents to two current Child’s Voice students, we are excited to host an event that will raise funds to allow Child’s Voice to positively impact their lives,” shared Mike and Katie Schroeder.

The golf tournament is a scramble format, featuring on-course contests including a “Challenge a Child’s Voice Alumni” where golfers can challenge the alumni to a driving challenge.  Current students of Child’s Voice, and their parents, also host a lemonade stand on the course.  Golf is followed by a helicopter ball drop, cocktail reception, dinner, raffle, live auction, and alumni speakers.  This year’s alumni that were selected to welcome our guests are Liam Powell, Class of 2016, Callan Fahey, Class of 2012, and Mark Bianco, Class of 2009.
