Child's Voice student smilingIn February we celebrate our birthday. We are 24 this year! In 1996, a group of parents wanted a listening and spoken language program for their children with hearing loss. In the years since then, we have moved to Wood Dale and opened an audiology clinic. We also started an Early Intervention center in Chicago’s Roscoe Village. We have seen students return to their neighborhood schools, get involved in extracurricular activities, go to college, and get jobs. Some of our alumni start careers in deaf education or audiology, and one has even returned to Child’s Voice as a teacher!

When you support Child’s Voice, you are helping children with hearing loss learn to listen and speak. You are providing audiology services so our students can have their hearing aids or implants maintained without missing school, as well as to students and children in the community. You are funding crucial early childhood intervention for babies and toddlers and their families.

You are giving a child with hearing loss the chance to hear and to learn language. Because of you, a child will experience success in education and a lifetime of engagement with their community.

Valentine's DayBut Some of our families are in need of scholarship support to attend our programs. In our Early Intervention Program, $5,000 can support up to six children for three months. Our Happy Birthday Child’s Voice campaign directs support to our scholarship fund. Click here to help more children participate in our programs.

No matter how you support Child’s Voice, we thank you from the bottom of our hears! Because of you our students have learned to laugh, speak, sing, and succeed for 24 years, and will continue to do so for countless more.
