Jennifer PolstonChild's Voice Board member, Jennifer Polston

Child’s Voice is thrilled to welcome back Jennifer, a former staff member, as a member of the Board of Directors. Jennifer joins Child’s Voice, excited to get involved again. She worked at Child’s Voice 2002 – 2004 as the Early Intervention Coordinator.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from St. Louis University and a Master’s Degree from the Central Institute for the Deaf at Washington University in St. Louis in Audiology.

Jennifer and her family relocated to Paris, France with her husband’s position and has recently moved back to the States. Jennifer now volunteers for her local parish, parish school, and even works on the Alumni and Auction Committees, including helping students produce art work for the event.

“From the time I entered graduate school at Central Institute for the Deaf at Washington University in St. Louis, I knew I wanted to work with children who are deaf and hard of hearing and who choose to use their devices to learn to speak and listen.  I enjoyed working with families and helping them from diagnosis through mainstream,” Jennifer shared. “Now that we are settled back in the US , I am ready again to work with an organization I am passionate about and that aligns with my degree in Audiology. I am so excited to again be a part of Child’s Voice!”

We’re excited too Jennifer! Thank you for your continued commitment to Child’s Voice students and families!

Jennifer and her husband Rob live in the suburbs of Chicago with their five children.
